Merry Meet and Welcome
to my little virtual corner of the web.
I am Lady Heather, crafter of
this website and the crafts within it.
I am an avid crafter I love to sew, cross-stitch,
beadwork, decoupage, woodworking, painting, drawing, etc. I just
love them all! I am forever writing ideas for new projects in a
few notebooks....OK, so I have like 10 of them. But each one has
a different area of stuff in it and it sorta keeps me organized.
In my own "magickal" way, Um,yeah we will call it that! I get this
craftiness from my mom. She is extremely crafty and has a real
entrepenuers flair. She is destined to open an antiques/oddities
shop with me in the Smoky Mountains somewhere, I feel it's strange
pull even as I type. Maybe in a few years we will be on our way.
Where was I?? Oh yeah, introducing myself....
I am 31 years old, a Capricorn, a loving wife, an
attached mother of two beautiful boys (BOYS RULE!.....Um, sorry, um),
a student of nursing, and a practicing Celtic Witch. Yup, I said the
"W" word...I apologize if it offends anyone but I call it
like I see it! Check out my Etymology
(meaning) of Witch page. I am mainly a
solitary although I do have many wonderful pagan friends I get to
cross paths with every now and again.
Definitely not often enough, though.
I miss you guys!!!
So I started bringing my two passions together.
When my husband, Moose, and I moved into our new home seven years
ago there was my blank canvas. At first, I searched high and low
for pagan themed decor. You know, I wanted pentacles
and goddesses and gods and the works!
I found lots of wonderful stuff with a dark and gothic look, but it
wasn't what I was looking for. My mom raised me in a beautifully
decorated country style home filled with many memory evoking antiques.
After my sons were born I wanted to decorate our home with the same
warm country feeling but still proudly display the beauty of my faith
throughout my home for me and my family to enjoy.
I started crafting and sewing and sewing and crafting.
I watched every craft and decorating show
The Discovery Channel
had to offer. Thank You Christopher Lowell!! I CAN DO IT!!
hehehe Along the way I created what I like to
call a pagan country decor in my home and outside of it
as well. You can't know me without at least suspecting that I am a little
witchy but my home doesn't scream "I'm a Witch!"....OK, only on Samhain
(Halloween)Hey it's THE witches holiday...
I'm allowed right??? Anyway, I hope you like what I have done to the place.
In the Pagan Decor section of this site you will find pictures of various
parts of my home. I am hoping that maybe they will get your creative juices
flowing and inspire you to bring some pagan country decor to your home!
Through the years friends and family have complimented my
creations, both pagan and not, and suggested I start a small business and
offer my beauties to you. And so Country Cauldron was born of the love and
encouragement of those around me.

Well, now I would like to introduce
you to my cheering squad...
My loving family:
I am married to my soulmate, Moose, who is a Taurus, fellow
Earth sign. Although we are always butting horns (me a Cappie/goat and him a
taurus/bull!) we make the perfect match.
We are joined on this lovely adventure by our two sons, JD
who is almost three and Bran who is 6 mos. They are my daily driving force
and the greatest blessing the Gods ever granted upon me. My husband is
Catholic so we are raising them openly so that one day they can choose their
own path, whatever it may be.
My two loving familiars are my Rottweilers, Ravyn Oake (who
is 6 days older than JD) and Fawn Braveheart(who is one month and one day
younger than Bran). We rescued Fawn from her previous owners. She was badly
neglected and very skinny. We brought her into our circle and filled her with
healing energy....and a good some of money to our wonderful vet. Now she is a
healthy pup growing like a weed!
And we are surrounded by great friends and close family who
accept me and all my strange ways! hehehe And that is almost one quarter of
my life story but that's all I have time for.........FOR NOW! Bruwahahahahahaha!!!
